On the boats we take a five gallon pail with water and phosphoric acid (wood deck wash) Insert a boats' 12 volt bilge pump hooked up to the water inlet on the block with a return hose back to the bucket. Run the motor till its really good and hot. No load will maybe be 1/2 hour with the bucket full. Let it sit till cool and repeat. Take the bucket at 3 a.m. and dump it on the crappy next door neighbors roses, and rinse the block well with fresh water. Ad some baking soda to neutralize if desired, but not necessary. ws
