Playin' Between Rain Drops

We’ve been experiencing unusually heavy rain fall here in Central Florida for the last couple of weeks and, today was no exception…

Mike drove his ’41 BC down so we could put it up on the lift to see if we could locate the driveline noise…

Cliff also came over to give us a hand.

When Mike showed up I was just finishing up an oil change on the ’47 rag top,

we also fixed a gas leak at the rubber hose in front of the electric fuel pump.

We did locate the source of the noise in the ’41; it was coming from the bearing in the torque tube.

We pumped it full of Corn Head grease and the noise quitted down considerably when the three of us pilled in and drove the ’41 to get Pizza…

However, we will have to address swapping out the bearing in the not too distant future.

Now... if it would just stop raining...
