might not be a '37 Ford frame, for one, so finding the serial number might be fruitless....and i guess i agree more with Mart in his line of thinking....as to when i read your original post about it being a '37 hot rod pickup.....in my mind's eye, entirely different idea of hot rod....but that's the fun of the world.....stick around and ask all the questions you want about flatheads, etc. and i'm sure you'll get plenty of good answers....and hopefully you can build into what you want and you can enjoy it....good luck....Mike
