How cool is that?! So, right off the top of my head, I can see the timing gear being removed and the sensor (I assume it needs this) off the crankshaft installed in that cavity. I would guess that leaves plenty of space for the valve actuator to sit in the existing lifter bores. I'll bet that Richard and Ron already have the prototype finished with Richard turning them out on his new lathe.
