This morning I installed the carburetor (that I rebuilt) on the '53 F-100, topped off the radiator, fired it up, and took a ride to see if it would over heat... the temps (2 gauges) both stayed at 160 so, I let the truck idle in the driveway for about a half hour and the temps went up to around 175 -180... I'm not sure how it will act out on the road...

Maybe this Saturday I'll take an extended drive to see what it will do. I was happy that it fired up without too much encouragement (after sitting for a few months) so; I gave the truck a bath... Here's the clean machine... New tires and all...
