Your running 1300 deg F in the combustion chamber and when the cooling is shut down I would expect the temperature of the coolant to reflect a small bump in temperature as the 1300 deg F is absorbed by the uncirculated water. As long as you don't loose water..."any temp is fine". [Jaguar owner's manual].
