'Doctors Coupe' was a commonly used name for any type Coupe. In rural & town areas the local house calling doctor would usually drive one. His bag carried in trunk/boot.
Name not only used in US as down here in NZ, Model T & A Coupes were often called a 'Doctors Coupe'.
