Head was the same as cars generally. Sometimes we have found high compression heads but it is rare. It has been a good source of engines in the flatlands but they are getting hard to find now. A lot of the engines are cracked in the center valve area. They were run hot and cold water poured in to keep harvesting that wheat. I've always said that farmers get a little crazy at harvest time.

Here is one that is sitting by the water tower in Nickerson KS. It is owned by the city and has been pulled in parades.
