Thanks to YOU, Charley and Paul for pointing up this safety equipment and WHY it's necessary. I feel sure that a lot of guys here can use this info. I know that I will look into safety retainers. Hm, so 'broken axle' results from INSUFFICIENT torqueing of rear axle nut? With this '36 having axle nut torque with about 10lbs and 50lbs..I have reason for concern,eh
