Since the last time i posted , have upgraded to a lock-up style converter and built a gear drive to replace the chain from trans to driveshaft and committed to a color....Also added a GM hei distributor as an ignition trigger, driven from the crank by a small timing belt, as this makes adjusting the timing a breeze, with centrifigal advance as well as the vacuum advance. The timing cover distributor still is used for spark distribution an the points are still there as a backup if the hei module fails.....
