You might consider just keeping your engine to use as a CORE to trade in. Many engine rebuilders have engines in stock and you can just pick one up, dropping off your own block as a trade in.
I did that with Antique Engines in IL, which, understandably is a haul from AZ, but you might wish to call one of the major engine rebuilders to see about shipping charges to your location. They might compare favorably after figuing gas, motel, tolls, meals, etc.
You can then use their shipping container to ship your trade-in block to them.
