Default Re: My New Find!

when I live in Idaho in the very early 60s ,I used to drive out in the desert in my 30 tudor sedan
i would go miles off road and always would find rows of old cars, many model As and Ts
there was no rust out ,just surface rust
i couldnt understand it
but my girlfriends grandmother clued me in
there were no junk yards back in the 30s or 40s (in rural Idaho)
so they would drive the cars out as far as they could get ,and just walk away from them,so all her cars were in a row
even back then a few people went out and hauled the good ones back to town
i remember a beautiful brewster green roadster body standing up against a garage that the guy had hauled in
i believe they have all been removed by now
i have some property up in the foothills and some people would just push their cars and trucks over the edge and they are wedged in amongst the trees, where I cant get them out
