The people that took over JC Taylor seem to know nothing about old cars, at least as a friend of mine is concerned. He had a 57 Bird that was hit by a semi and sustained a lot of damage. He had a very hard time convincing Taylor that it was not a RV that the new company specialized in. Then when they sent an adjuster out he really low balled the damage (either through ignorance or on purpose) so much that my friend had to get a lawyer to get compensated. I don't know if they have cleaned up thier act yet.
Grundy was bought out about a year ago and from what I heard they are not very good.

That's too bad about your friend and his T-Bird. I had a '63 Studebaker Avanti that got wrecked, I had the car covered for $20,000 and got a check from JC Taylor for the full amount in a week, they also provided an Attorney at no cost to me. I know they've changed ownership but I have not had any trouble with them.
