I used Red's complete kit with headers and the extension pipe to clear the battery in stock location on my 36 pickup. No problem with the steering box or battery location, I had to adjust the pipe in the clutch pedal area to keep the pedal from hitting it when depressed. I've never seen a kit that fit perfect but I was well satisfied with Red's kit, Good quality materials.
