I have a driver unrestored original AR phaeton, and am currently building a 29 roadster street rod.

I believe if it is no harder to make a new/repro part look as it came from the factory, I say. ask away and go for it.

Even with my rod, I am trying to emulate a 29 fold down windscreen post as I think they would have been if made by ford.

I am building a 29 body with 30 fenders because I think it may look not so antique, but still be all model A.

If ford has of lined up all the slotted screws on the dash rail from the factory , I would too.

So, try when you can to get as it was.
