Like danliveshere said, you might be able to clean it out but mine was too far gone. It had pinhole rust-throughs all over the top such that I couldn't fill it with gas or it would leak. Ought to check that out.

I have a problem with the tank plug is blocked totally I could not unscrew it. This year I sent it to clean it but they did not unscrew the plug they "forgotten"
I need to see how It will work now first.
