I have been a dealer/collector of early American furniture for 40 years and learned a sad lesson. I thought the demand for country furniture would never fade, so besides buying and selling I put aside projects for retirement. Well the demand has greatly decreased and now my furniture projects are simply taking up valuable space. I have had to stack them to the ceiling or sell at hugh losses, so that I have space to work on the Ford.
LESSON LEARNED.
