Iffin' y'all come from the farm or from "the bottoms" or from the woods, there is only 1 proper way to describe various types of animal droppings. That word is preceded by the name of whichever critter laid that little treasure there.
My Aunt Minnie, a comic that could out do Carol Burnett, uses the phrase, "Say chicken s**t," to get a smile, when snappin' folks pics, even outside the Forest Hills Baptist Church on Sunday!
Shortly after marrying my wife, Pat, a born again christian, shocked me by saying s**t in utter disgust! After getting myself up from offin' the floor, I asked, "Is the honeymoon OVER?"
She explained that in her family the word was used to express utter disgust without using The Lord's name in vain. YES, WE'RE STILL MARRIED! (54 YEARS)---Bill W.
