Just to make it more interesting,there were also grease guns for Model A made in Canada. Both look same [ fine knurling on caps] but one is marked 'Stewart Warner Alemite Corp. Canada', the other has 'Alemite Products Company, Canada Ltd.' Both have patent dates[ 1920-21].
Model A style 'gun issued from 1928-1934. After that, only some deluxe Ford V8's had them in toolkit. This is the one with model no. 6550 & is lighter & fatter than 'A' one. On ebay they are always touted as 'Model A'. And,yes these also had Canadian versions
