I agree with Tubman. I don't have 2 flathead engines that are alike. One of them on a cold start will take two pumps of the accelerator, the other doesn't like anything other than to crank the engine. Some of them are cold natured and will require a slight pull of the choke to warm up in the summer, the others nothing.


It's an odd thing and these engines are like people. Hardly two of them are alike.
