The tanks inc sender mentions for 1955 & 1956. That makes we wonder since 1956 was the first year for 12-volt. They don't mention the Ohm range on it either.

The King Seeley indicator gauges work the same as any fuel gauge with the exception of the completely different sender type. Some testing of the system would be advised before buttoning things up. If it doesn't go from empty to full then it will still need a trim module. The main thing is that it fits the tank.
