Default Re: 34 trip

Nice easy dy today, only 165klms,
dont know why but we were up early, breakfast and packed up by 7-30.
Fueled up in town and headed off to bourke.
No goats for a while then ,there they were, at least they are road trained and will be feeding right on the edge of the seal and not even look up, unlike Kangeroos and emu,s.
As we only had a short drive we stopped and looked at stuff, sign said Aboriginal rock art, 3 ks down a dirt road , Cheryl said rhey lied as at the 3k point there was a sign saying 23 klms, so we did a u turn and headed back out to the highway.
the Suburoo that was on the side of the road, had no plates on ,battery missing, air intake hose disconected, all wheels still on,but obveously conked out and abandoned.
The 34 is now covered in red dust and badly needs a wash, that will wait maybe untill we in Lightening ridge tomorrow
