Default Re: 34 trip

We went from the dearest fuel yesterday,to the cheapest so far today, yesterday $2.54 at injune today $1.96 at Roma.
Left Roma this morning around 7-30, fueled up and hit the road, first stop was Mungallala for a toilet stop, then a side track to a small historic cemetey called Dulbydilla historic cemetry, only about 20 graves, most from the 1880,s,some quite sad, like children 2 hrs old and some 3 4 and 6 yrs,one mane kicked in the face by a horse.
We then stopped at a small place called Morven for smoko.
there were a few road works where they were resealing the road,so drove real slow on the new tar and stones.
Later stopping in Charliville for our lunch.
Charliville has a unique place in the 2nd world war, as there was a huge US air base here .
You can still see where the airfield buildings were.
The road from Charliville to Cunamulla was nice and enjoyable as very little traffic.
Took another side trip down to whats called Wyandra beach,on the river.
My new speed control for the hand throttle needs more adjustment as it only gets to 50mph.still nice to give the foot a rest.
Left hand door has a rattle ,but i think the part the door lock grips on may have come loose, tommorow will see.(rest day)
Looks like the engine used a bit of oil as its about 1/4 in down on the stick.
Immstill impressed with the engine, original from the 33 ,babbit mains std bore with flat top pistons, starts first push of the starter, hums along as sweet as,
Quite as a mouse,
The 34 is getting a bit dirty with dust ect from exploring
