Which is in reality easier than the adapter. I get a kick out of the fact the underground fuel tanks that are collecting the fumes are still vented to the atmosphere. Usually pipes at roof level behind the station. They are as effective as CA "summer blend" gas that really only stops the emissions turning brown in the summer when the UV rays are the highest. The air is still bad but you've been scammed into paying higher prices for healthier air that really isn't.
Photochemical smog is a type of air pollution characterized by a brownish haze that forms in urban areas, primarily resulting from the reaction of sunlight with pollutants like nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It is often referred to as "Los Angeles-type" or summer smog, commonly appearing in sunny, warm, dry climates with high traffic density.
