I see C&G and CW Moss is out of stock. Who is carrying the best arm assy or the springs? Which is the best wat to go?

Sid, from a LOT of experience, the springs are not typically an issue. Rather, the pivot points are worn out, resulting in the lid not being held up properly.
If you are able to replace the rivets at the center pivot AFTER you have welded the elongated holes up and redrilled them to size, then go that way.
If you are not able, buy new.
