usually you have to cut the front pulley off the crank pulley. Then, the crank is a little longer so it will hit the loop for the hand crank. Some cut this off, or you can buy a new one for a model A and cut that. You need to aim for the height of the crank nut to be in the same position, like you're gonna use the hand crank, or if too high you run out of clearance for the breather tube at the firewall. Even at the correct height its hard to get the breather cap off and on, so I made a longer tube to get the cap above the firewall.

Also, the height needs to be just right to be able to change fan belts when needed.
