The bottom seat frame is shorter (front to back) than the top spring frame. The top spring frame should have metal braces that go up the back of the springs to rest along the back of the cab.
The bottom spring is attached to a plywood base that has 3 holes in the front for seat adjustment, and in the rear, the mounting for the top spring hinges.
