Default Re: Rebuilt 1934 V-8

How about $3400.? The engine had the sleeves pulled and new pistons fit to the bores. New babbit and rod bearings, valves, lifters, cam ground, new gears. oil and water-pumps rebuilt. Then piston/rod assemblies were balanced to 1/2 gram. The machine shop was Sandberg & Son in Moalla, Oregon They rebuilt my model A and model T Engines to the same standards. I have run my A at 65 MPH, and cruise easily at 50 MPH. My T engine was hopped up with dippers, hot cam, counterbalances and the same balancing. They were a competent shop specializing in vintage engines. I sold the truck and the new owner is selling the engine. It has never been fired.
