because i've had occasion to have three cars transported from 2000-5000 miles on several occasions using the bidder/buyer arrangement and you'll never know what kind of service you'll get, and if it's bad, and a third of mine have been bad, there's little or nothing you'll be able to do about it. as the broker is long gone with your money and couldn't care less. and most likely the drivers are too.

I have had clients deliver their cars to me utilizing brokers. A few had trailers that I would be fearful to haul scrap metal in.
Passport uses professional drivers that have always been super respectful of my cars. The company is fully bonded and the agreed replacement value is agreed upon up front.
