Default Re: What did you do today, that was Model A related ?

I just finished restoring this early 1930 Model A generator. This one received a NEW armature. As well as the other usual work - rebuilt field coils, new sealed bearing, bushing, wiring, insulators, hardware, paint and oiler. Its too bad that new armatures are no longer being made. They work beautifully and are capable of putting out a lot of current. It is the ultimate upgrade for reliability and longevity. The generator was topped off with a serviced & refurbished original Ford cutout. It is ready for many years of dependable service.
