The photo of your accelerator spoon looks to be very close to the floor. I'm with Mart on this one...bend the accelerator itself somewhere to get the spoon up off the floor. It will take some effort but it can be bent if you apply leverage in the right place. We do it all the time with our Model A's when the same problem occurs.
