The various Holley carbs are basically quite similar through the years, the major differences were in external linkages for different choke methods, hand throttle, etc. The later post-48 carbs (8BA, EAB, ECU) also had the external port in the middle of the back for the Ford Load-a-Matic distributor.There were also minor internal differences (squirters, etc.) over the years which were are usually improvements.
The 92 is a smaller (internally) version of the 94 used on the later '38-40 V8-60's. There is also one picture showing an "81". the pictures are kind of confusing, so it is difficult to determine which is which. If that is an 81, they are quite desirable for dual carb applications for smaller inch engines. That one, however, looks really beat up so there is a question of whether it has much value.
This is another reason "Charlie NY" should still be around; he knows a hell of a lot more about these things than I do and could have done a much better job of explaining it.
