I’ve decided to go ahead and media blast/clean/psint and the other carburetor parts. Was thinking about all the corrosion on the lower sealing surface of the main body I’m presently using. I’m worked I might have a problem sealing, so will try another main body in better condition.
I threw the carb together last night, and placed it on the manifold with the linkage. One linkage arm is too small to fit on the shaft and the other arm won’t tighten sufficiently on the shaft. Geeze!
Also watched another YT vid, and now understand how the tall cluster “clamps” work and which style is used. It’s the one on the bottom (shortest) that fits above the squirter. So, might go and try them instead of the short/original clusters.
