Over the years I've tested a few new parts on my cars.
This time it was the prototype oil pump for Terry.
I'm running a Burtz engine in my little T roadster. The Rotoshim pump I had fitted was taken out and the car was run up static for the original design and testing.
Once the pump was developed I took it for a little jaunt. Across Europe. To race in Denmark. Round trip of about 1200 miles, with much of the journey on the autobahns, sitting at a steady 60-65mph.
Here's a picture of the prototype after it was removed for inspection. No wear, and all surfaces still in perfect condition.
