Nuts before mid-February 1929 are right hand thread.

Nuts after mid-February 1929 are right hand thread on the RH side of the car and left hand thread on the Left Hand (Drivers) side of the car.

Reference for this at https://aafords.com/aa-chassis/aa-1000-wheels/#wcno

Tightening torque somewhere I've seen at 90FP although 120 would not be beyond realm of possibility using a manual wrench. Perhaps best said as use a manual wrench and "stand" on the end for the last torque. That way you can be sure to be able to get them off should there be a road event.

The tendency of "tire jockeys" is to go too tight. It's not intentional. They just don't think of getting the wheels off on the road with a flat tire.

For the disassembly of the barn-fresh 30-31 AA I had to borrow the 3/4 drive impact wrench from work which was max at 375 - and this one struggled. But those wheels had the disadvantage of 40 years of rust to lock them in place.
