Default Re: 1932 ford pheaton build questions

The front door hinges on a 1932 roadster and phaeton are the same, however the upper hinge is different than the lower hinge. The phaeton rear door uses essentially the same hinge as the upper front door hinge though likely with a different hole mount pattern.

I make the roadster and phaeton hinges in investment cast steel, mount holes are not drilled.

The front seat back panel is unique to the 1932 phaeton. I do not believe there is a creditable steel one reproduced, I make it in fiberglass. Regardless of original, steel, or fiberglass you will want to reinforce the upper lip with some substantial structure as when you sit in the seat and lean back the stock seat back will flex causing the doors to not align with the latch striker plates.
