Thanks for the compliments. I am the fourth owner at least? The guys before me need the credit! They cared for it for 58 years! Being 13 in 1965 I was not able to get my first car until 1970 and it was not a Comet. I liked this red car when I first saw it. It has never had a total restoration, just upgrades and improvements.
I am going to make a slight adjustment to the spring setting on the choke. Maybe it will flip to full choke and fast idle better?
We still have a rubbing or grinding sound in the rear area of the car more work to do there, figuring out what that noise is on a sharp slow right turn.
I did call Eaton Detroit Spring and thank them for their support on the updated Comet suspension.
