Dialectric grease is good, but has a drawback when used on push-on connections
that may be a bit loose. It is non-conductive, and acts as an insulator, therefore, consider as an option, remove the ancient hard rubber collar, use a small screwdriver to slightly loosen the female bullet connector, slip on a section of modern black shrink tube of the appropriate size, make the connection and
then solder the joint. No resistance in that circuit due to that bullet connector. Slip the shrink tube over the joint and hold a match under it , it'll look like the original. The purpose of the bullet connectors was for use at the assembly line, so unless you plan to change out the harnesses again in your lifetime, solder is your friend.
