Looks like I may have to do it myself.
The transmission has to come out and hopefully I can figure out what's wrong.
Bad shudder when taking off and downshifting from 3rd to 2nd.
Had a new pressure plate, clutch disk and throwout bearing put in. Same trouble as before. I have a lot of up and down play in the clutch lever arm. People at Shoe Box Central say the spring that holds the arm in place is off. I will have to pull the transmission to see.
I bought another spring. I showed the mechanic that did the work a picture of the spring. He said he didn't remember seeing one. I guess I am going to have to look for myself.
