Default Re: how many 1938 ford station wagon's were built

NOW
To confuse the issue, In Germany, at least, you did have woody production and their "job#1" calendar was quite different (and by in large, later) than here in the USA.....Partly due to the restrictions on import of materials from the U S as well as struggles with getting local resources due to Governmental controls and their relationship with Ford AG. I apologize for NOT having more evidential photos other than the first two (I thought I had more of this particular car) BUT as you can see the layout and dash are quite different than the 37, 38 woody's we know. Also, attached is a 1937 German brochure of the "style" of Ford I speak of......which I have seen listed as "early" as 1936 and ran to as late as 1938. The fourth picture showing the chrome accent strips added for 1938. ALSO, by 1938 in Germany, It would not be out of character to NOT have the numbers EVEN in worldwide production numbers as by this time frame, Ford of U S had very very little to NO control of the plant by this time and so having NO production records would be very very likely. I would bet that the production numbers would have been in the low 2 digit amount BUT would have added to the overall amount none the less!!!!
