Re: '48 F1 ignition switch post resistance. What's "ok"?
Been all day with no response, so I'll shoot my mouth off. 1st, I have no experience with 48's, but probably the same plastic thing with a brass contact on the for the post connections, and a brass contact that slides on that when you wish to turn it on.
They do wear, and get dirty, and are available new. I would check to see if you have a voltage drop between power in and power out, and maybe just replace those parts for peace of mind and reliability. Should be no resistance IMHO.
