The "Lazy V8" first appeared on the ill fated 1935 Miller Ford Indy race cars. It became a grille emblem for 1937 Fords in an angled position, and in a prone position on the sides of 1938 Ford hoods. The one on your pictured pedal car is a handpainted home version.
