Re: Frustrating Oil Leak
Is all this oil leaking causing clutch problems. Oil getting on the clutch disk. I am having clutch problems. As soon as I ease off the clutch pedal car starts shaking.
I haven't had the car long. I am going to clean it up good and see if I can tell anything about where the oil on the motor is coming from. I have a new pilot bearing, clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing. I sure hope the main seal isn't bad. I haven't noticed any oil on the driveway to speak of.
I hear you have to pull the motor to change a rear main. I am not equipped for that.
