Default Re: '36 221 - rebuildable??

Well, being in Europe doesn't make it easier. I see running flatheads being offered in the US on a regular basis, Marketplace, Craigslist, etc. Not a lot here in Europe. So little alternatives.

We took a chance with this car and hoped the engine was in better shape, but it wasn't. Couldn't tell from the outside when we bought the car. You win some, you loose some. We were lucky it was a late '36 LB with a rebuildable block and crankshaft. The rest I was able to obtain fairly priced on my trips to the US.

No way back now, the engine is finished. It's a project with my dad, so we share the costs. We realize we'll never get back what we spent, but hey, it's a fun project. It will be a cool, technically sound 4 door Sedan with a patina look.
