Keith, you have asked a good question. The answer is either way! You have to move tie rod to see what is happening. This is because when your car was assembled, you don't know what tie rod ends were placed on the tie rod and how it was mounted in the car. It goes together either way! It is easy to see. Before moving the tie rod, take a measurement, move the tie rod 1/2-1 turn and take another measurement. Did you increase toe-in or decrease it. Adjust as necessary. Ed
