The reality is that a growing number of reproduction parts are no longer available and likely never will be available again. Everything has a minimum quantity to be produced in order to achieve a reasonable per unit cost/price and to cover the cost of tooling. When the Drakes of the world conclude that there is no longer a market big enough for a particular item, they won't take the risk of ending up with a huge inventory of slow or non-moving parts that they have no hope of breaking even with.



The evidence is everywhere. This segment of the car hobby, like those of the Model T and A before is slowing down
