Re: What did you do today that was flathead V8 related?
I restore a lot of Ford generators; model T, A and flathead V8. I'm not a big fan of 12 volt conversions. For most applications a properly restored 6 volt electrical system will work just fine. But I get occasional inquiries about converting a generator to 12 volts. I finally decided to build one and finished it this morning.
I'll have it and other restored generators and refurbished original cutouts at the Hampton Virginia AACA show this Friday and Saturday. If you are there, stop by my table and say hi 😀
