Your engine is 1937-‘38, and I know of only one that had been converted to use both sets of water pump's, and to no real advantage. If you have pumps in your heads, it was an approved Ford conversion for a replacement short block to use the earlier heads, the conversion consisting of simply installing a block off plate at the front off the block. The engine in your car is considered to be the best 21 stud engine Ford ever built. Work out your overheating issues and be happy!
