I've been to the salt flats about 10 times years ago when things were a bit more low key, very few spectators. It was big fun, early 80's thru about 95 or so. I think its really cool that you can start yourself off the line, and even move around to the return road without a push car. The record is icing on the cake for your efforts, congrats!
