V8 Bob. Having the wheel cylinders lower than the master cylinder should not be an issue. Look at for example my 54 Merc. Mac
Mc is higher than all wheel cylinders ! Lines on rears are not hanging any lower to catch anything. And this is common practice and have seen many have the wheel cylinders on bottom. At least the bleeders are pointed up verse what I’ve also seen people do trying to bleed brakes with them on under side.

The front wheel cylinders did not have the flare inside like the rears do. Will be putting copper washer there tonight. I have checked well for leaks and there are none. But will check again.
